If you have a voice, you have a weapon in defense of Liberty. Use it!

In America, Barack Hussein Obama, Government is the problem, Liberty, Mike Sola, Socialism, The Decline and Fall of the American Republic on August 10, 2009 at 3:20 PM

The opposition to socialized medicine is not a “conservative, right-wing thing.”

It is a “Liberty thing,” which is why leftists and other cowards don’t get it.

It’s a matter of life-and-death:

Mike Sola is a hero.

Here‘s the article to which he refers.

Those on the Left care about politics, because they want to exercise power over others.

The rest of us don’t want politics, we care about Right and Wrong, about Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

You’d think that at least a few of our elected officials would actually believe in that.

And this what you see in the video below: Members of AARP, older citizens who would seem most easily-tempted by collectivist promises of security, realizing the danger of encroaching government tyranny, waking up and talking back.

Notice also the speaker’s condescension to her audience: The “public” has to be quiet while she tells them what they are to think.

Just like the president, “ready to rule from Day One.”

We need patriots of all ages to wake up to politicians’ decades-long-but-recently-exploded usurpation of our Constitution.

Don’t wallow in self-pity lamenting, “What can someone like me do?”

The fight has commenced. Go to fighting or get away! (And start digging your grave.)

The unborn and the elderly are ObamaScare’s first victims. Only one has the voice to engage in this fight:

If you have a voice, you have a weapon in defense of Liberty. Use it!

The concentration camps are next.

Obama’s vision of America: Somewhere between Stalin and Hitler.

  1. A quick question,
What is the difference between a crusade and a jihad?

  2. MR "A"…

Please Scroll Downward a few posts to August 8th to 'Word Frequency…' then to "Comments" – It's here you will find "Hell-Bound Train" that I've dredged up from a failing memory-bank! It's a thought-stimulating poem that may be of some value to our friend from Wexford, Ireland. reb.

  3. Mr. R.,

    Thank you!

I enjoyed it thoroughly, but was unable to sign-in to thank you.

    (Lost a partition, temporarily!)

    Regards,

    Amillennialist

  4. Which is worse Crusade or Jihad?

  5. Mr. UURG,

I had prepared a reply to your earlier questions and concerns, but as I note above, a damaged partition almost destroyed that work.

It will take me a little time to get things up and running.

As to your immediate question, apologists for Islam — and those who merely hate Christianity — seek to make this false tu quoque by making a false moral equivalence between the two.

The difference between jihad and Crusade is that jihad is commanded by Allah and his apostle against all non-Muslims who refuse both the "invitation" to Islam and slavery under it.

Muhammad regularly went out on offensive jihad raids, slaughtering, raping, and enslaving non-Muslims — Jews, Christians, and pagans — throughout Arabia. After his death, jihad exploded out from there (per his command) into the Holy Land, North Africa, Spain, Eastern Europe, and South Asia (and later, the rest of the world).

On the other hand, the first Crusade was called by Pope Urban II in response to Christians in the east under siege by . . . you guessed it! Islam.

It was defensive (and not in the sense that Muslims use the term: "Infidel" self-defense against jihad — and even their unbelief! — are considered attacks against Allah).

And how many people did Christ rape? Behead? Enslave? How much booty did he steal? How many cities, tribes, and entire civilizations did he destroy personally or require be destroyed?

The Son of God committed no sin, spoke only the truth, healed the sick, raised the dead, died for the sins of the whole world, and resurrected.

So, the essential difference between Crusade and jihad is this:

Christ died for all men to bring you to Heaven.

    Allah just wants you dead.

    Regards,

    Amillennialist

(At this point, one might protest, "What about all the atrocities committed by the Crusaders?"

    And that would be correct.

Crusaders committed crimes against Jews and other Christians on their way to wage war against Islam.

The important thing to remember is that when they committed (past tense) those crimes, they were violating Christ's command and example.

When jihadists commit (past, present, and future tenses) such crimes against Jews and Christians, they do so in obedience to Allah's command and Muhammad's example.)

  6. "Worse?" is an opinion question.

In your opinion, which is worse: To wage war to enslave and slaughter all who reject your religion, or to wage war to defend innocents?

Some might go so far as to call the latter "noble" or "heroic."

  7. To wage war to enslave and slaughter all who reject your religion is obviously worse.

  8. Telling the truth about Islam is the first step in effectively defending ourselves (and saving souls).

  9. Well, is that "Class", to toss 18 mindless blurbs at a well-formated blog? Or are we witness to a dreary and boring Under-class, or is it just No – Class?

Some people wonder why I've found it necessary to 'moderate' S/H weblog. There's your answer, folks. The hecklers, threats, name-callers and foul stuff never make it to print.

Are you manic depressive, Rory Graycrow Underclass?

(At least Robin Williams is sometimes funny, sometimes decent.)

Don't be a poster boy for the benefits of socialized medicine. Your buddy Obama will be out on the street within a week of the American public's exposure to your . . . what is it exactly you're trying to do?

  16. By the way, censorship is what a tyrant does to its citizens.

Though your overdeveloped sense of entitlement and exaggerated self-importance might suggest to you otherwise, nothing gives you the right to commit the communicative equivalent of walking into someone else's home and defiling the living room carpet.

    You dishonor the 10%.

    they are noticed and feared

    [speaking of "ugly fascists"!]

But microdot says dehumanizing people is wrong.

Name-calling and profanity do not an argument make.

    It's not even ironic.

And in defense of tyranny, it's suicidal, for you haven't tasted fascism until you've lived under shari'a. The fact that you're attacking well-meaning people arguing in defense of Liberty and equality under the law for all people regardless of gender or creed should give you pause.

Rory Graycrow Underclass admitted to *counting words* rather than actually reading; you too should read and think for yourselves.

With what specifically, do you disagree? Where, specifically, have I erred?

You are welcome at ACM as long as you keep it respectful.

  18. Yes. Also the 90% atheist Rory claims to be – I have met well-mannered, totally-committed non- believers that voice an opinion without rude behavior, threats, or foul language to drive home

  19. I followed your link from the socialist French site where Rory is whining about something you said or did.

Are you really an amilleniast? One who doesn't believe in the rapture?

It's OK if you are because it has nothing to do with our salvation, but I was just curious. Think I'll bookmark this site as you seem to have more in common with me than the people at the french blog.

  20. Jeanette,

    Welcome!

Thank you for the heads-up. I spent a good bit of time yesterday removing UURG's impertinence.

With regard to the Rapture, I do not believe that Christians will be taken from the Earth before the Great Tribulation, nor do I believe that there will be a future, literal 1,000-year reign of Christ on Earth before Judgment Day.

Instead, I believe what the Scriptures state: The dead will resurrect, believers living at that time will be transformed "in the twinkling of an eye," and Christ will judge the world.

Paul writes: "We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed."

The Great Tribulation is now, for Jesus said, "In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Similarly, in Matthew 24, when Christ discusses the end of the world, He describes it as something His people will endure, and then the end comes.

Since Christ is the Son of God, YHWH on Earth, He is reigning now.

One other thought to keep in mind is that Revelation is full of symbolism (see the end of chapter 1). If we are to take the book the way the author intended, we have to understand the literal parts literally, the symbolic parts symbolically.

    Thank you for visiting, Jeanette.

  21. Here is the relevant passage from Matthew 24:

the disciples came to him [Christ] privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?"

And Jesus answered them," . . . See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

"So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out. If they say, 'Look, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

  22. A note to Rory:

I saw that you say you are manic depressive. I apologize. I did not realize that when I posted my earlier rhetorical question.

    You are in my prayers.

  23. Reb,

I don't mind someone arguing strongly for their position (I even like it), I just don't appreciate intentionally offending someone.

Neither do I like profanity, especially as a substitute for substance (I understand an occasional word or two, especially in a heated discussion, but if someone's cursing just to offend, then that is out-of-bounds).

    Regards,

    Amillennialist
